Idea

The big creative meet up is a networking event designed to bring together creatives from different practices to make contacts and have fun. The Custard Factory will be collaborating with ‘The Big Creative Meet Up’ to host the first annual event. The Custard Factory is located in Digbeth, Birmingham, and is a neighbourhood of free spirits, creators and thinkers. Digbeth is a community, collaboration and sharing ideas is the heart of what makes The Custard Factory an inspiring and innovative space.

Research

Just a short walk from the Bullring you’ll find the Custard Factory. It was originally the home of Bird’s instant custard, these Victorian factories have been beautifully restored, covered in artwork and fairy lights, and become the heart of the city’s creative quarter. With flexible leases and spaces the Custard Factory is a place where businesses come to grow. The Custard Factory is for everyone from small start ups to established independents and major brands. Their spaces range from small studios to entire floor plates with views over the Courtyard, River Rea and the City. The Custard Factory offers a variety of conventional and unconventional venues for events of all kinds. Choose from converted warehouses, heritage railway arches or contemporary spaces.
